Applications may be submitted at any time after the applicant’s birth. The key entry points are Grade 000 and Grade R. 

Grade 00 is not a standard intake year. Applications may be submitted, but placement is not guaranteed. 

No. However, annual reconfirmation of interest in a future place is required to ensure the applicant remains on the active waiting list. 

No. Enrolled Grade R students are not required to reapply for admission to the Preparatory School. 

We host annual Pre-Preparatory School-in-the-Woods Open Days in Term 3 and Term 4 of the year preceding the proposed entry year. Applicants on the relevant waiting list will receive invitations via email. A visit to the school is a prerequisite for placement consideration and may be arranged by appointment with the Admissions Office. 

Yes. Applications must be kept up to date with all required documentation before placement is considered. Updated documents should be emailed to the Admissions Office. 

Grades 000 and R are the main intake grades. The first round of placement offers typically commences in Term 1 of the year preceding the proposed entry year.
