We are delighted with the Matric results of 2017! With this being the second year of the school writing the IEB Matriculation Examination, the commitment of the students and the dedication of the teachers was well rewarded in the achievement of excellent results.
The school achieved a 100% Bachelor’s Pass record and a number of girls achieved impressive suites of distinctions. Special acknowledgements go to the following students:
Three students achieved 6 distinctions each, six students achieved 5 distinctions and five students achieved 4 distinctions. 14 of the 62 students achieved A aggregates, and 33 achieved B aggregates. There were 131 subject distinctions and 5 subjects posted distinction aggregates. Congratulations too to the nine students who achieved pleasing results in Advanced Programme Maths and Advanced Programme English – their 8th subjects!
It is particularly pleasing to note that overall, St Cyprian’s School’s results were comfortably above the national IEB average – and an affirmation that hard work pays rich dividends.
Well done to the “girls in blue” and their outstanding teachers and thank you to parents for their support and encouragement.
